FAQ

  • Can I book a two hour massage?

Yes! I just ask you to be an existing client beforehand. Some people’s bodies are not receptive to extended work like two hour massages, but a lot of bodies are! To make sure that your body will react positively to this length of work, I like to do a 90 minute massage first in order to better understand how your body reacts to my bodywork. I do not book light pressure massages in this time length- these services are better suited for those who are looking for deep tissue related bodywork.

  • Do You Do a Sliding Scale?

Yes! I take a couple sliding scale clients a month on a first come first serve basis, so it’s always worth reaching out and asking if this is something you need. While this operates on the honor system, I do ask people seeking out this service are those in more vulnerable positions. My sliding scale rates are between $65-$90 an hour for all body work types.

  • What kind of accessibility is available?

I want to make you as comfortable as possible, and can make sure the space is set to your needs- textures, lights, sounds and smells can all be changed in order to better fit your needs. I can provide bolsters and pillows in order to make the table more comfortable. Any bodywork can be tailored to meet your body and soul's personal needs.

  • Do you work with pregnant people?

Yes! And I love to. I believe pregnant people are some of the people most in need of bodywork. I don’t work with clients within the first trimester, so I ask you to be at least 12 weeks along before booking a prenatal massage. I understand that pregnancy is not always a comfortable process, and strive to create a judgment free zone. If you have a doula, I would love to be in contact with them to better curate what you need. I will perform prenatal work until late term, just ask if you are in those very late stages of pregnancy (mucus plug comes out, early dilation, Braxton-Hicks contractions) you get a sign off from your doctor beforehand.

  • Will you do an in-home massage?

At this time- yes! This is always subject to distance (long distances may require a travel fee), but I understand some people are more comfortable receiving bodywork in their own space. I just ask you to have ample space for my massage table. I will bring the rest!

  • Do you work on minors?

    Nope!
